Your local newspaper

My name is Andrea Hardaker and I'm a reported with the Wharfedale Observer/Ilkley Gazette.

We are always looking for good stories from the Menston area and I'm appealing for locals to get in touch with me.

I do try to get round the village at least once a week to see what's happening but it's not always easy - I work part-time and deadlines are tight. I also try to attend the Neighbourhood Forums and am always willing to help out with local issues if possible.

I would love to hear from anyone who has a problem or an issue they would like to see tackled. Since I started working here last August I have come across many talented Menston folk - please help me ensure this talent is celebrated.
