33^rd Menston Show

Everyone associated with Menston Show was shocked and saddened by the sudden death of our long serving Secretary Barbara Hannam. Barbara was a hard working member of many groups within the village and she will be greatly missed.

We are sure that the show this year to be held on Saturday 6 September at Kirklands Community Centre will prove to be a fitting tribute to her dedication and enthusiasm.

Entries for the 84 Classes are taken on the day between 10.15 am and 11.30 am.  Doors for visitors to the show open at 2.00 pm with tea and biscuits available throughout the afternoon.

Prizes will be presented by the President of the show Elizabeth Loy at 3.30 pm. Followed by the ever popular Auction of Goods at 4.00 pm.

First time exhibitors are especially welcome at this friendly show, which supports local good causes.

This year the proceeds from the Raffle, Tombola & Auction of Goods will be donated to the Menston First World War Memorial Appeal.
