Refuse Collection

Wheelie-bins provided by the Council for general waste (emptied weekly), glass bottles and tins, papers and 'Green Bags' for garden waste (emptied 4 weekly) The bins are emptied from the kerbside, collection details are attached to the bins.

Ellar Ghyll Disposal Site

Refuse disposal for general household and garden waste,but not trade waste. Recycling bins for newspapers, cardboard, glass, wood, garden waste, scrap metal, white goods (fridges etc), car batteries, gas bottles,engine oil and fluorescent tubes.

Open daily November to March 09.00 to 16.00
April to October 09.00 to 17.00
