The 6th Menston Guide

The 5th Menston Guide was produced early in 2001 as part of the millennium celebrations. What is impressive with the new 6th edition in 2007 is the growth in practically all the Sections. Notable in this respect are: Recycling Sites and Community Care Sections. Information on local Clubs and Societies has also been significantly increased which, hopefully, will be much valued by the village.

The overall impression of The Guide is one of vitality and community spirit within Menston for which the village can take real pride. The Menston Community Association thanks the traders and businesses that have advertised in the 2007 Guide. Without their support the 6th Edition which makes up most of this website's content would have been unaffordable. If the Guide and the development of this website increases our patronage of village businesses then we should all be beneficiaries.

The Association also wishes to thank all of those people who have given time and effort in supporting the production and delivery of The Guide and subsequently production of this website. In particular we should mention the efforts of David Calverley ably supported by David Manson and Philippa Monaghan
