This is the website of Menston, a village in Lower Wharfedale, Yorkshire. The site is designed to provide information to residents about what's happening in the village and a resource to find out about the services and facilities available locally. We are also happy to add your views on matters relating to the village, as long as they are accurate and not defamatory in any way. We do reserve the right to edit or not publish any contribution and will include your name. If you live in the village please let us know about your organisation's events and we will add them to this website. The website has been built by the Menston Community Association (MCA) and is maintained by the MCA along with the Parish Council, which has a separate area of the website. |

Barn Dance success A great night was had at the Menston Pre-School Barn dance, with over eighty people do-si-doing with friends. Ian Cunningham, the Chairman of Menston Pre-School said: “What a great night was had with by so many members of the local community. We were able to raise over two hundred and fifty pounds. From September this year we are introducing a lunch club so the money raised will help us buy new tables and chairs. I would like to thank all the people for supporting Menston Pre-School .” |
