This is the website of Menston, a village in Lower Wharfedale, Yorkshire.  A selection of photographs of the village is shown above.

The site is designed to provide information to residents about what's happening in the village and a resource to find out about the services and facilities available locally. We are also happy to add your views on matters relating to the village, as long as they are accurate and not defamatory in any way.  We do reserve the right to edit or not publish any contribution and will include your name.

The website has been built by the Menston Community Association (MCA) and is maintained by the MCA along with the Parish Council, which has a separate area of the website.

The content comes mainly from the very popular and comprehensive Menston Guide that is produced by the MCA, but also contains meeting minutes and information from the local newsletter. The continued success and usefulness of The Menston Guide and therefore this site, depends upon the content fed into it.
