I am the Ward Officer Constable for Menston. My areas of responsibility are Menston and Burley as well as Windhill and Wrose in Shipley. I have been a Neighbourhood Policing Constable for around 9 years and prior to that was a Reactive Patrol Officer for 5 years.

The principles of Neighbourhood Policing are very important to me and I know it is critical to listen to people's concerns and try to tackle the issues which are most important to our communities.

Police rely on the co-operation of the public to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour, and I would encourage everyone affected to come forward with information.

A big concern at present is 'lock snapping' of Euro profile locks, which has accounted for 45% of criminal attacks in Menston over recent weeks. There is also active targeting of newer, higher end vehicles, in particular Audis but also Mercedes and VW Golfs.

If you require more information in relation to this or any other issue, please email me at

0r call 101, leaving your details, and I will call you when I am on duty.

Can I also encourage you all to join the OWL Network, which is a way for the Police to send out messages to communities and even specific streets. Online, search 'OWL Network Bradford' and follow the relevant link to register.
