Menston Arts Club

The club promotes the pursuit of art, its understanding and appreciation. Holds lectures, demonstrations, practical sessions and two annual exhibitions of members' work (entry fee).

Subscription: £35 annually, plus joining fee

The club meets at Kirklands Community Centre each Monday evening from 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

We are a friendly duplicate bridge club for all abilities. We meet on alternate Tuesdays at 7.00pm at Kirklands Community Centre. We do have a few vacancies for new members. Anyone interested please get in touch.

Menston Evening Townswomen's Guild

We meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in Kirklands Community Centre, when there is usually a speaker. We also have outings, monthly pub lunches, a reading group and an annual quiz. Every November we organise a Charity Brass Band Concert to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The annual membership fee is £25. Visitors are charged £2 to attend meetings, members £1.50. New members are welcome at any time, just phone the number above if you think you might be interested. We are a friendly group, for women of all ages, and will make you feel very welcome.

Menston Gardeners

For all interested in every aspect of gardening through a regular monthly meeting (September - May) with a presentation covering a wide range of interests and visits to gardens and nurseries in June/July or August. We generally meet on the third Thursday of each month at Kirklands at 7.30pm

Menston Retired Men's Forum

This is a social meeting place for retired men in Menston. At the meetings members hear talks and presentations by visiting guest speakers on a wide range of diverse topics. Group members have also given talks and there is at least one quiz each year. The Forum meets in Room 17 at Kirklands Community Centre from 10.00 am until 12 noon on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (except for the summer recess).

Kirklands Bridge Club (Rubber)

The club formed in 1974 to provide a social bridge club in Menston and will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2014. Kirklands Bridge Club is a popular friendly club playing rubber bridge. Many of the founding members from 1974 still play rubber bridge. The club meets on alternate Tuesday evenings from 7.15pm - 10 pm at Kirklands Community Centre.
